A small rabbit, the desert cottontail feeds on grass, roots, and bark and is a pest in suburban (and even urban) areas of Arizona. According to Simon & Schuster's Guide to Mammals, this rabbit can swim and even climb trees! Image captured with a Canon 10D, Canon 70-200 mm L IS lens at 200 mm, and 1.4x extender.
