Great Egrets

(Ardea alba)

The Great Egret is much larger than the Snowy Egret but this is only obvious when the two are seen side-by-side. Independent identifying features of the Great Egret include yellow (nonbreeding) or greenish-blue lores (breeding), upper bill gray (breeding), yellow (nonbreeding), lower bill is yellow, and legs and feet are black. Several images, please scroll down. These great egrets are mostly in breeding plumage and lores coloring.
